ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - On Wednesday, a Meet & Greet was held for new Odessa High Football Head Coach Erik Hartman.

Hartman attended and played quarterback at Odessa High School and graduated in 1993. After playing college football for Angelo State, Hartman served as an assistant coach in numerous locations including Odessa High from 2001 until 2006.

Hartman previously was the offensive coordinator at Corsicana High School.

“Our motto for, anyone, anytime bar-none it sets that elite mindset, so that’s what we want to bring in, and just create that mindset of winning,” said Hartman.

Odessa High will open their season on August 29 against the Amarillo Sandies.
