ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - In a release from Illinois College Athletics, former UTPB Softball Coach Samantha Mendez has accepted the Head Coaching position for the softball team.

Mendez served as head coach with the Falcons during the 2023 and 2024 seasons compiling a total record of 15-86.

UTPB will begin their search for a new head softball coach.
