MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The Midland Bulldogs Baseball team defeated the Odessa Bronchos after 23 innings on Saturday, April 20.

The game started on Friday at 4:30 PM, April 19 at Pressly Field in Odessa but was suspended due to poor lighting. The game was set to continue on Saturday, April 20th at Zachery Field in Midland before playing the final game of the series later in the afternoon.

Friday’s game continued and went 23 innings setting a Texas High School Baseball record for longest game in history according to MaxPreps. Midland was able to get the win 4-3 before winning the final game of the series in extra innings 4-3.
