Stanton, Texas (KOSA) - Stanton High senior Ethan Coronado is a two-time state champion in diving.

On Wednesday, he took the next step in his athletic career by signing with Clarion University.

Clarion is a long way from home for the Stanton and Houston product.

Ethan will study kinesiology at Clarion University. He hopes to become a physical therapist.

Much of Stanton High School was present to congratulate Ethan and wish him well at Clarion.
