MMH Becomes Three-Time Designated Pathway to Excellence Hospital

On Friday, Midland Memorial Hospital celebrated achieving their three-time Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

The Pathway to Excellence Program recognizes a health care organization’s commitment to creating an innovative, supportive and positive workplace environment.

The designation is granted based on organizations that demonstrate the six ANCC Pathway to Excellence Practice Standards:
1. Shared Decision-Making
2. Leadership
3. Safety
4. Quality
5. Well-Being
6. Professional Development

For an organization to earn the Pathway to Excellence distinction, it must successfully undergo a thorough review process that documents quality initiatives in creating a positive work environment. These initiatives must be integrated in the facility’s practices, policies and culture.

As a three-time Pathway to Excellence designated health care organization, we have proven that we’re committed to creating an environment where nurses thrive.
